Mizan

Privacy Policy (English)

Mizan is designed with privacy as a first principle. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.

What information the app uses

• Location. With your permission, Mizan reads your device's location to compute local prayer times. Location data is processed on-device only. It is never transmitted to us, to a server, or to any third party. You can revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings; Mizan will fall back to a default location.
• Notifications. Mizan schedules local notifications (adhan reminders, adhkar reminders, the evening Muhasabah) on your device. Notifications are scheduled by your device — they do not require a server and no notification data leaves your device.
• App data. Habit completions, scores, streaks, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using SQLite and Apple's Secure Storage. This data is never transmitted. If you delete the app, this data is removed.

What we do not do

• We do not have accounts or sign-ins.
• We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs (no Firebase, Sentry, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment, or any other).
• We do not use advertising or advertising identifiers.
• We do not include any third-party SDKs that collect data.
• We do not make any network requests to our servers. Mizan has no servers.

Children's privacy

Mizan is appropriate for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data (e.g., to add an optional cloud-sync feature), we will update this page, change the "Last updated" date, and announce the change inside the app. Existing data handling will not change without your explicit opt-in.
